The Whoop & Holler Ranch is very scenic.  The terrain varies from beautiful, shady pecans along the river (Pecan Bayou) to rocky hillsides dotted with mesquite and cactus.  The five-acre Whoop & Holler Lake provides interesting vistas and treks.  Besides the lake and the Pecan Bayou, the ranch also has two stock tanks.

We recommend that guests who plan to hike wear clothing appropriate for the terrain.   Jeans and sturdy shoes or boots work best.  Sandals don't provide protection from thorny plants, nor do they provide traction on rocky terrain.  Most of the terrain is rustic with trails made by deer or cattle.  Guests hike at their own risk and should exercise caution.  Watch out for dangerous or poisonous plants or animals.  Do not approach the livestock.  Children must be accompanied by adults.  We are not responsible for accidents.
